No Worries, each week a new challenge is posted on the H2H blog, with several inspiration pieces to view. This page, was made with scraps! I love it when a page is created with scraps and creativity! Paper is from the Into the Wild paper collection, white daisy cardstock, and into the wild compliments.

H2H: Making Waves Challenge

Welcome to my page! I am a design team member for the Heart 2 Heart Challenge team! Each week there is a new challenge, that expires at the end of the month. This week, your challenge is to design an project around the theme 'making waves'! The only catch (there is always a catch) is one of your items in your project must be from close to my heart.

My inspiration for this challenge, is a bit outside of the box....I used the CTMH cricut Cartridge 'YOU ARE HERE' to create two stencils from freezer paper. I ironed them on to flour sack towels (I hand dyed - another post sometime) and painted with fabric paint. How cool!

July SOTM Blog Hop - Bear Hugs

Welcome to the 'Bear Hugs' Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
This Month we will be featuring the July Bear Hugs stamp set.  If you have come here from Brenda Lapp's blog, you are on the right path!  When you are finished reading my post, you can click on the link at the end to move to the next blog. This blog hop is simple, fun, and full of artwork created by some very talented consultants.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.

Here is the stamp set we will be working with:

Here is my creation, scroll on down for an overview guide to recreate this card yourself.

Let me walk you though this my creation: 

• The beautiful bears are stamped in espresso ink. 
• The grass, flowers and butterfly are stamped in charcoal ink. 
• To add color, watercolor pencils were added (with no water) to the grass, flowers and butterfly, along with a shadow under the mama bear. 
• An outline was added to the banner and the card base. 
• Add a glue dot the back of the banner, loop some silver embellishing thread and adhere to the glue dot. 
• Add 3D foam squares or tape to the banner and adhere on top of the bears. 
• Add some glitter gems!
